The Magic Forest

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who loved to explore the forest near her home. She liked to look for animals, flowers and mushrooms. She always brought a basket with her to collect some berries and nuts.

One day, as she was walking through the forest, she saw a bright light shining through the trees. She followed it and found a clearing with a big pond. In the middle of the pond, there was a beautiful fountain that sprayed water in different colors.

Lily was amazed by the sight and decided to go closer. She took off her shoes and socks and stepped into the water. It felt warm and soft on her feet. She walked towards the fountain and saw that it had many jewels on it. There were rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds.

She reached out her hand to touch one of them when suddenly she heard a voice.

“Hello there! Who are you?” The voice said.

Lily looked around and saw that it was coming from the fountain. She saw a face made of water smiling at her.

“I’m Lily. Who are you?” She asked.

“I’m Fina. I’m the fairy of this fountain.” The face said.

“A fairy? Wow! You’re so pretty!” Lily exclaimed.

“Thank you! You’re very kind.” Fina said.

“What are you doing here?” Lily asked.

“I live here. This is my magic forest.” Fina said.

“Your magic forest? What do you mean?” Lily asked.

“This forest is full of magic. Everything here is alive and can talk to me.” Fina said.

“Really? Can I talk to them too?” Lily asked.

“Of course! You just have to listen with your heart.” Fina said.

Lily closed her eyes and tried to listen with her heart. She heard many voices around her. They were coming from the trees, the flowers, the animals and even the rocks.

“Hello! Hello!” They all greeted her warmly.

Lily opened her eyes and smiled. She felt happy and peaceful in this place. She spent some time talking to Fina and her friends in the forest. They told her many stories about their lives and adventures. They also showed her some tricks they could do with their magic powers.

Lily had so much fun that she didn’t notice how late it was getting until she saw the sun setting behind the hills.

“Oh no! I have to go home now!” She said suddenly.

“Why? Where do you live?” Fina asked curiously.

“I live in a house near this forest with my parents.” Lily said

“Don’t you like it here?” Fina asked sadly

“I love it here! But I can’t stay forever.” Lily said

“Why not? You can be my friend and we can play together every day.” Fina said

“That sounds wonderful but I don’t think my parents would let me.” Lily said

“They don’t know about this place?” Fina asked

“No they don’t And I don’t think they would believe me if I told them.” Lily said

“That’s too bad Maybe you can come back tomorrow then?” Fina asked hopefully

“Yes maybe I can But how will I find you again?” Lily asked

“Don’t worry Just follow your heart It will lead you back to me And take this as a gift It’s a magic necklace It will help you remember me And make your dreams come true “Fina said as she gave Lily a necklace made of pearls

“Thank you so much You’re very generous “Lily said as she put on the necklace It felt warm on her neck

“You’re welcome Now hurry up before it gets dark “Fina said as she hugged Lily goodbye

“Goodbye See you soon “Lily said as she waved at Fina and all her friends in the forest Then she ran back to where she left her shoes socks basket

She put them on quickly grabbed her basket started heading home As she walked through the forest she looked back at the pond one last time She saw the fountain still shining brightly in the twilight She smiled and whispered

“I’ll be back “
